Women’s Writing Project:

Currently seeking material for a feminist bible.

We are a collective of women inspired by the
works of Elizabeth Cady Stanton and “The
Revising Committee” of the late 19th century.
Our objective is to rewrite those bible stories
identified by The Revising Committee as being
degrading toward women. This will not be a
critique of Christian bible stories, but, rather, a
rewrite of many biblical chapters and passages
from a feminist perspective.
